Title: EMS Lieutenant – (EMS Shift Leader)

Pay Rate: $26 – $29.50

Availability: Must have open availability, including nights and weekends (Shifts are 24/72)

Responsibilities:

Follow all pertinent DocGo policy and procedures

Functions as an on-line supervisor, monitoring operations to ensure the delivery of quality and effective service.

Provide top-tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.

Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.

Works as part of a supervisory team with management staff to ensure continuity, consistency, and strong lines of communication.

Monitors operations to ensure that all personnel comply with company policies and procedures.

Regularly oversees station stocking/cleaning to ensure they meet or exceed requirements regarding maintenance, equipment, supplies and cleanliness.

Ensures that personnel keep the site location in a clean, sanitary, and functional condition.

Ensures all scheduling requirements are met within a timely fashion.

Duties may include scheduling and staffing, logistics management, clinical and administrative QA/QI, and performance management.

Leads and supports the team with operations, logistics, staffing, and scheduling.

Perform all other field duties.

Coordinate and oversee operations on assigned shift.

Serves as an EMS Lieutenant in the Atlantic County EMS System.

Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Must have great communication skills
-
Must be tech savvy and computer literate
-
Prior experience in a supervisory role (preferred)
-
Valid Driver’s License (2 years as a minimum) with an acceptable driving record

Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)

Problem solving skills, attention to detail, & organization skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Prior experience as an EMS FTO

Required certifications / credentials:
-
NREMT / NJ EMT with at least 2 years of EMS experience

AHA for Healthcare Providers CPR Card
-
CEVO
-
FEMA ICS: 100, 200, 700, 800 or ability to obtain within 90 days
