Annual Salary Range: $62,400 – $70,000

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Payroll distribution inbox and receive phone calls, field messages, respond to frequently asked questions, provide general HR and payroll information and follow up on all phone calls and emails accordingly. Refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level staff or management

  • Assist in overseeing of tickets received in the Payroll Freshdesk inbox and coordinate accordingly to provide administrative support

  • Sort mail, scan and send received mail for payments to Accounts Payable/Concur and send to appropriate HR or payroll staff member

  • Follow up on requests for employee information, records, personnel files, payroll inquiries and employment verifications

  • Create and maintain employee files, payroll information, benefit files and ensure Compliance and accurate record-keeping

  • Performs periodic audits of HR and Payroll files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

  • Provides clerical support to the Payroll department

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource and payroll files and records.

  • Assist with auditing employee offboarding including verifying employee removal from all HRIS systems, verifying information was updated along with received PAFs, and extending separation paperwork

  • Assist with recording discrepancies and filing discrepancy form accordingly along with other payroll related forms and documents

  • Assist with any payroll-related matters including biweekly check distribution, pay discrepancies, garnishments, benefits, and onboarding issues with the Payroll department

  • Assist with commission and bonus tracking and payment processing for staff each biweekly pay period

  • Complete employment verifications, unemployment forms, garnishment responses, and other employee forms

  • Responsible for providing standard HR and payroll reports of employee data and metrics

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred)

  • A Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience

  • Knowledge of federal, state/local employee laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of G-Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft systems

  • Excel expert!

  • Workday experience is a plus
