Protect Yourself From Recruitment Scams

We have been made aware of fraudulent recruitment activities being carried out by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent our company. These scams may include fake job postings, false employment offers, and attempts to obtain sensitive personal or financial information.

To safeguard yourself during the job search process, please review the following guidelines:

  • Verified Job Postings: Legitimate job postings are posted on the official careers page of DocGo’s website before being posted on additional online job boards.  If you see a position listed elsewhere that does not also appear on our careers site, it is likely fraudulent.
  • Official Communications: All legitimate communications from our team will come from an official company domain (e.g. @docgo.com). If you receive an email from any other domain, treat it with caution and verify its legitimacy.
  • No Fees or Payments: We will never request payment at any stage of the recruitment process. If you are asked to pay fees for applications, background checks, or job offers, it is a scam.
  • Interview Process: All legitimate job offers follow a thorough interview process. If you receive an offer without a formal interview or proper vetting, it is not genuine.
  • Protect Your Information: We will never request sensitive information—such as Social Security numbers, bank account details, or passport information—early in the hiring process. Always verify the legitimacy of a request before sharing personal data.
  • When in Doubt: If you’re unsure about the legitimacy of a job offer or communication, contact us directly through our official channels. For example, email [email protected] or use contact information listed on our official website.

If you believe you have been targeted or victimized by a recruiting scam, we encourage you to report the incident to your local law enforcement agency or the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at www.ic3.gov, a division of the FBI that investigates internet fraud.

Please be vigilant—your safety and security are our priority.
