Job Description:
You will be providing DocGo services in New York City by monitoring, assessing, and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses through comprehensive assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management for adult and pediatric patients. Here is what you can expect day-to-day as a Mobile Health Clinician –NY at DocGo:

Each day, you will drive to patients’ homes to provide care and monitoring

While at a patient’s home, engage in assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system

Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system

You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support

Responsibilities:

Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the On-Demand patient population

Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
-
Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
-
Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
-
Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
-
Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
-
Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
-
Other related duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Active and current American Heart Association BLS Required / ACLS certification Preferred
-
Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas experience preferred

Active and current driver's license for 2 years or more Required

Current unrestricted license NY State LPN

Clinical work experience with pediatrics (preferred)

Phlebotomy experience required

Fluent in Spanish language preferred
